My wife was able to be with me for the 10 days I was in the VA University Park Pittsburgh Medical center in 2019 during my open heart surgery and recovery. Having her close by meant the world to me. Her stay at the Fisher House was a Godsend. The accommodations and staff were thoughtful and kind. My daughter was also able to visit me and stay with her mother. Thank you Fisher House, making a real difference to Veterans and their families.
