Founded in 1927 as a radio technology training program for veterans, Capitol Tech has grown into a comprehensive institution offering bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees exclusively in STEM disciplines. Capitol Tech maintains strong ties with the National Security Agency (NSA), offering programs such as the Cyber Security Engineering Development Program. Army veteran Ed Sealing is a standout alumni. After earning his cybersecurity degree from Capitol Tech, Sealing founded Sealing Technologies—a cybersecurity firm that has employed many fellow Capitol Tech graduates. Following its acquisition by Parsons Corporation, Sealing gave back to the university with a $3 million gift to establish the Capitol Artificial Intelligence Learning and Innovation Environment. This initiative supports AI-driven degree programs in construction management and computer science, further solidifying Capitol Tech’s leadership in emerging technologies.
