If you’re looking for valuable experience in the field of occupational therapy, our Occupational Therapy (OT) Fellowship Programs provide fellows the opportunity to learn and practice in a specialized setting to advance their knowledge and skills.
With 19 OT Fellowship Programs in seven different areas of practice, we look for candidates who have a strong interest in a specialty area and who intend to pursue board or specialty certifications in:
Assistive technology
Gerontology
Hand and upper extremity rehab
Lymphedema
Mental health
Neurorehabilitation
Physical rehabilitation
Through these programs, you can gain the knowledge and skills to provide evidence-informed, Veteran-centric, occupation-based care. Additionally, the opportunity to be a fellow within VA allows you to see the value of supporting the nation’s Veterans and active duty service members.
“These programs propel fellows toward delivering specialty and advanced practice by giving them knowledge and expertise they might not otherwise have the opportunity to gain,” said Katherine Litman, MOT, OTR/L, coordinator of the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital Neurorehabilitation OT Fellowship Program in Tampa, Florida.
